　　Xi’an Ruihong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive high-tech enterprise that integrates scientific research, production and sales of natural plant extracts. The company has a professional team composed of 3 professors, 5 graduate students and 2 pharmacy engineers with 20 years of experience. The team has accumulated rich experience and obtained accurate data in basic research, process development and testing to ensure its leading position in production process and product quality. The company covers a land area of 11,000 square meters, including 600-square-meter GMP standard clean workshop and a 2,000-square-meter manufacturing shop. The five production lines output 140 tons of ammonium/potassium/sodium glycyrrhizinates and quality glycyrrhizin, in addition to 50 tons of 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid each year.

　　The enterprise developed and produced its own natural plant extracts with liquorice as the primary raw material, while building close cooperative relationship with the liquorice raw material of such cities as Xinjiang, Gansu and Ningxia, etc., which has become further processing new high-tech enterprise of fostering and developing crude products and quality goods with liquorice as the main material. It mainly produces such kinds of liquorice products as glycyrrhizic acid with good quality, mono-ammonium glycyrrhizinate, glycyrrhizic acid 2NH, mono potassium Glycyrrhizinate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, Tripotassium Glycyrrhizinate, glabridin, glycyrrhetinic acid, glycyrrhizic acid disodium salt, glycyrrhizic acid trisodium salt, liquorice aspartame (R-19\R-21), licorice extract (licorice), extractum glycyrrhizae & licorice extract pieces and licoflavone, etc. Those products are mainly applied to such industries as medicine, foodstuff, cosmetics, health care products, tobacco and flavours and fragrances, etc.
