水帘喷漆房处理漆雾的基本过程是:在排风机引力的作用下，含有漆雾的空气向水帘喷漆房的内壁水帘板方向流动，一部分漆雾直接接触到喷漆房水帘板上的水膜而被吸附，一部分漆雾在经过喷漆房水帘板上淌下的水帘时被水帘冲刷掉，其余未被水膜和水帘捕捉到的残余漆雾在通过水洗区和清洗区时被清洗掉。

　　应当指出的是目前水帘喷漆房中所设置的漆雾处理装置仅能处理漆雾中的树脂成分，对于其中的溶剂蒸气，由于其很难溶于水，则不能得到处理，仍然要排入大气中造成污染，所以要另需设置专门的废气处理装置来处理排出的溶剂蒸气。
