赵构此卷虽是自家面貌，却也是渊源有自，其中智永对他的影响较明显，笔意、字势均可见出。米芾的影子也还有一些。《翰墨志》曾专提到智永，并称”得其《千文》藏”，今存赵构书迹亦有《临智永真草千字文》，可见其浸淫之深，赵构在《翰墨志》中毫不掩饰其对米芾的喜爱，甚至记载了米芾生活的部分细节，大有今日追星族之风，米芾在《海岳名言》中丑诋前贤，二王之下，唯于智永《千字文》许以”秀润圆劲，八面具备”，赵构喜爱智永或许也曾受到米芾的影响。另外，我们拿出米芾《焚香帖》和赵构《洛神赋》作一对照，也可以明显见出二者的相似，可以说，早期对米芾的取法在赵构晚年作品中仍有不由自主的流露。
