They are intended for cold oil seals, indirect heating and cooling systems in industrial processes. Mobil Thermal Fluids are formulated from highly refined base oils which have the ability to resist thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. They have very good thermal and very long lives with no formation of deposits or increase in viscosity. Mobil Thermal Fluids have high thermal conductivity and low viscosity for good pumpability at start- or operating temperatures. These products exhibit heat transfer performance that enables faster cooling capabilities. During use, the flash point of these lubricants does not decrease significantly because of their good thermal cracking at the recommended operating temperatures.
