Stainless steel film problems/Customers report that after delivery, a group of stainless steel traffic boxes encountered difficulties in tearing off the film on the surface of the stainless steel, and the film could not be removed in one piece. And after tearing off the film, there is residual glue sticking to the surface of stainless steel, which can only be cleaned with organic solvents such as alcohol. Due to the large quantity of this batch of goods, the workload is huge, and the user also expressed dissatisfaction. This batch of stainless steel sentry boxes are made of 2mm thick 304/2B board, using domestic black and white film, only used to protect the surface and prevent scratches during the bending process. The above-mentioned quality situation is caused by the obvious failure of the adhesive film and the liquefaction of the adhesive layer. After investigation, it has been 6 months since the batch of stainless steel plates were delivered from the factory to the use of the sentry box, and it was shipped in March and delivered in September. The weather was hot and the sentry box was exposed to the sun. Both in terms of time and temperature, the use conditions of the film are exceeded. The adhesive force of the adhesive layer of the adhesive film increases greatly after liquefaction, increasing the difficulty of tearing off the adhesive film, and a large amount of residual adhesive will remain on the surface of the stainless steel. For residual glue, only use organic solvents to clean. If xylene or acetone is used, the effect will be better than alcohol.
The use of the film should generally not exceed 3 months. If it is a high-temperature season or outdoors, the time will be shortened, so pay attention to these conditions when using the film.
