Nano-zinc oxide was divided into two kinds of application in plastic field: One was processed into high zinc oxide content of the resin antimicrobial masterbatch(Most of the zinc oxide content of 20%), which was white granulated. Another was directly blending the corresponding resin molding. Different plastic resin such as PP﹑PET etc were different masterbatch products corresponding. zinc oxide had excellent properties of antibacterial, had blocked the shielding effect of the high efficiency of UVA..Applications found that the addition of only 1% of zinc oxide so that antibacterial rate of plastic products reached more than 99%. Value of ultraviolet shield rate reached UPF 50+. Also increased the service life role and anti-aging for outdoor plastic products. The plastic products added were determined by zinc oxide catalyst with excellent performance,with properties of antibacterial of no recession and blocking UV aging and improving material strength.
Mainly Applications
This product was suitable for refrigerator, washing machine and other household appliances, wipes, diapers and other hygiene products, food and drugs, maternal and medical supplies, vehicle seats, armrest, mouse, keyboard, telephone shell etc. It was visible that object surface that people frequently contacted would need surface antibacterial. Wherein the material composition of the polymer could add zinc oxide to achieve the purpose of anti-bacterial. We recommended zinc oxide applied into plastics normally added zinc oxide catalyst which contained a high amount of masterbatch. The so-called zinc oxide catalyst contained a high amount of masterbatch refered to in advance through a certain process dispersing the zinc oxide to some resins such as polypropylene resin, which we called PP antimicrobial masterbatch. The PP antimicrobial masterbatches usually directly melt and blended the PP resin molding or spinning then acquired antibacterial products. Antibacterial properties of the final product had been confirmed by a number of authoritatives and testing organizations home and abroad.

SS-Z20纳米氧化锌在塑料领域应用分为二种:一是先加工成氧化锌含量较高的树脂抗菌母粒(氧化锌含量大多为20%)，为润白色颗粒状。二是可直接与对应树脂共混后成型。不同的塑料树脂如PP、PET等有不同的母粒产品与之对应。氧化锌具有优良的抗菌性能，具有对中长波紫外线高效率的遮挡屏蔽作用。应用发现，仅添加1%的触媒氧化锌，便可让塑料制品的抗菌率达到99%以上；紫外线屏蔽率UPF值50+；同时对于户外的塑料制品，还具有延缓老化，增加使用寿命的作用。触媒氧化锌优良的性能决定添加后的塑料制品，具有不衰退的抗菌性能和遮挡紫外线等抗老化、防静电、提高材料强度性能。
