  necessary. Above 30°C (86°F), recharge at 6 months. Above 40°C (104°F), recharge at 3 months.

  Do not store above 40°C (104°f).

  > If a battery is stored for 6 months or longer without being charged, its service life may be shortened.

  > Never store batteries in a sealed environment or incorporate into a sealed structure/enclosure without

  adequate ventilation.

  为实现市电供电与逆变器供电之间的自动切换,自动切换装置是EPS中必不可少的部件,也是影响EPS可靠性的关键部件之一。根据EPS的输出容量和负载要求不同,自动切换装置可采用继电器、交流接触器、互投开关、晶闸管固态开关等构成。对EPS的切换时间要求具有多样性,例如,一般消防应急照明要求切换时间小于5s,高危险区域使用的消防应急照明要求切换时间小于0.25s,为高压气体放电灯供电时,为保证不熄辉,则要求切换时间为数毫秒量级,为风机、泵类、卷帘门、电梯等负载供电时,根据应用要求不同,切换时间也会在数毫秒至数秒不等。

  EPS与UPS不同,多数应用场合对切换时间并无苛刻要求,切换时间也并非越短越好,在能满足应用需求的前提下,适当慢一点切换可以在其他方面获益,例如降低损耗,减小暂态冲击,提高可靠性,避免负载可能因瞬间失电而导致工作失常等等。市电正常时EPS的逆变器一般工作于备用状态,且有冷备份与热备份两种工作方式。冷备份时,逆变器仅控制部分处于工作状态,功率部分处于加电待机状态,但不启动;热备份时,整个逆变器处于正常运转状态,但不承担负载。当逆变器热备份时,短切换时间基本决定于所用切换装置的动作时间;而当逆变器冷备份时,短切换时间还要受逆变器启动时间的制约。特别是容量较大的EPS,如果启动过快,逆变输出变压器和低通滤波器会产生很大的暂态冲击,甚至可能损坏半导体功率器件,因此逆变器一般都具备软启动特性,且功率越大,启动越慢,大容量EPS逆变器的启动时间可达数秒之久。如果要求更快的切换时间,则只能采取热备工作方式,此时EPS的待机损耗自然要增加许多。
