钢化玻璃 （Flat & Bent）Tempered Glass
钢化玻璃是将浮法玻璃加热至软化温度附近后用空气均匀地快速冷却，使玻璃表面具有均匀应压力的一种高强度安全玻璃。
Tempered glass is one kind of high-strength glass with even compressive stress on the surface which is made by heating float glass to nearly softening point and then cooling it down rapidly by air.
特点
高强度:钢化玻璃与同等厚度的浮法玻璃相比，耐冲击强度高3-5倍。
安全性:玻璃受冲击时不易破碎， 玻璃破碎后成类似蜂窝状较小钝角颗粒碎片，对人体不会造成严重伤害。
热稳定性:钢化玻璃具有良好的热稳定性，与相同厚度的普通玻璃相比，耐热冲击强度高3倍，能承受的温度突变范围为220℃-250℃。与之相比，普通玻璃仅为70℃-100℃。
Feature
High mechanical-resistant strenth: Impact-resisitant strength of tempered glass is 3-5 higher than that of float glass of same thickness.
Safety: Glass is not easy to be broken when attached. Broken glass particle is of honeycomb shape with obtuse angles which won’t cause serve hurt to human body.
Thermal stability: Thermal stability of tempered glass is 3 times higher than that of float glass of same thickness. Tempered glass can withstand shift of 220℃-250℃ whilefloat glass can only withstand shift of 70℃-100℃.

中空玻璃 insulating glass(IGU)
中空玻璃是由两片或多片玻璃间，夹着内部填充高效分子筛（干燥剂）的铝合金隔框，边部再用高强度密封胶粘合(双重密封:第一道密封采用丁基胶，第二道密封可以采用聚硫胶或结构胶)而成的玻璃制品。
Insulating glass is made of two or more pieces of glass between which aluminum frame is filled with highly efficient molecular absorbent. The edge of insulating glass is sealed by high strnth sealing sealants(double sealing: Butyl should be used for the first sealing, polysulfide rubber or silicon strucral sealants should be chosen according to glazing manner).
特点 Feature
光学性能:根据需要, 中空玻璃的基片可选择不同产品灵活组合，以达到需要的太阳光透射率和反射率。一般可见光透过率范围为10-80%， 反射率为13-35%。
Optical performance: Various glass substrates can be used for IGU to meet the request of sunlight transmission and reflection. Generally, the range of sunlight transmission rate is 10-80%, reflection rate is 13-35%.
热学性能: 可有效降低热传系数U值， 若充入惰性气体如氖气、氩气、氦气可进一步大大降低传热系数。
Termal performance: Heat transfer coefficient U value can be effectively reduced by IGU. If intert gas as neon, argon,helium is filled, heat tranfer coefficient can be further dramatically reduced.
隔音性
中空玻璃是理想的降噪音材料， 一般中空玻璃可降低噪音约30分贝，而充入惰性气体的中空玻璃可在原有基础上再降低5分贝，即可将80分贝的交通噪音降至45分贝，达到极为安静的程度。
Sound insulation performance: IGU is ideal sound insulating material.normal IGU can reduce noise by 30 decibel, and IGU filled with inert gas can further 5 decibel. It means IGU can reduce 80 decibel traffic noise noise into 45 decibel, which is very quite.
防结露
由于在中空玻璃的间隔条内填充了足够的干燥剂，他可以有效地吸附中空玻璃内腔中和外界可能渗入的水蒸气，确保中空玻璃内腔中空气绝对干燥，从而达到不结露。
Anti-dew under low temperture: As IGU is filled with enough dedesiccant, it can effectively absorb the vapor in the inner space or penetrated from outside to ensure the gas in inner space is absolutely dry and would not dew.
重量轻
在隔热效果相同条件下， 中空玻璃代替部分砖墙或混凝土墙，可减少建筑负重。
Light weight: Under the same effect of heat insulation, the replacement of partial brick wall or concrete with IGU can reduce load of building and simplify building structure.

夹层玻璃是在两片或多片玻璃夹层间夹上坚韧、粘结力强的聚乙烯醇缩丁荃（PVB）中间膜， 经高温高压牢固粘合而成的安全玻璃。
Laminated glass is made of two or more pieces of glass between which one layers and multi-layers of PVB with strong cohesion is sandwiched under high temperature and pressure.
特点 Feature
安全性:在夹层玻璃受到外力冲击破裂时，PVB夹层会吸收大量的冲击能，并使之迅速减弱，所以夹层很难被击穿，即使玻璃被击裂，仍能完整地保持在框架内。
Safety: PVB can quickly absorb and weaken a mass of striking energy when laminated glass is attacked by outside force. Therefore laminated glass is hard to be penetrated and can remain intergrally in the frame even when it is broken.
保安性:因为无法采用玻璃刀对安装的夹层玻璃实施有效切割，而用其他工具击穿夹层玻璃时间长、声音大， 容易被发现，因此夹层玻璃对于恶意破坏、偷窃和暴力有很强的抵御作用。
Security: Because it is not possible to cut laminated glass by glass cutter and it is time costing and loud sound would be caused to penetrade laminated glass by other instruments, and it is easy to be discovered. Therefore, laminated glass has strong resistance fuction to evil destruction, rebbery and violence.
隔音性
PVB膜对声波有较强的阻隔作用，有效地阻挡了声音的传播，减少噪音，隔音效果良好。
Sound insulation performance: PVB can effectively prevent sound wave. Sound wave can be obviously weakened when it goes through laminated glass so that noise disturbance is reduced.
防紫外线
PVB胶膜中含有吸收紫外线添加剂， 能过滤掉99%的紫外线， 可以防止紫外线辐射对各种器具的褪色和破坏作用。
Anti-UV: There is UV-absorbor additive in the PVB which can prevent as high as more than 99% of UV. So laminated glass can protect the valuable furnature, exibit ans artwork etc. from discoloring and distorying from UV.
隔热性
夹层玻璃（特别是有色夹层玻璃）能减少阳光透射，降低空调费用，节约能源。
Heat insulation performance: Laminated glass (especially colored laminated glass) can reduce sunshine transmission, decrease the charge for air conditioner and save energy.
阻火灾
夹层玻璃在受热和火烤时，不会立即破碎瓦解，致使火灾限制在一处的时间较长，利于几时发现报警、撤离和扑灭。
Fireproofing: When laminated glass is heated and roasted, it would not broken immediately. Then the fire will be limited in one place in a longer time.there is more time to find out the fire, and put it out.
