　　轴流式压缩机性能特点效率较高，单机效率可达86%～92%，比离心式压缩机高5%～10%，单位面积流通能力大，径向尺寸小，适宜流量大于1500m3/min的场合，单级压力比较低，单缸多级压力比可达11，与离心式压缩机相比，静叶不可调试式轴流压缩机的稳定工况区较窄，在恒定转速下，流量变化相对较少，压力变化较大。此外，结构较为简单，维护方便。因此，轴流压缩机对于中、低压、大流量，且载荷基本不变的情况较为理想。全静叶可调式轴流压缩机可以扩大压缩机的稳定工况区，弥补了静叶不可调式轴流压缩机的不足，而且可以提高压缩机的效率，降低起动功率。目前，炼油厂主要用全静叶可调式轴流压缩机。
