德国BATOP提供两款用于透射式的可饱和吸收体,包括透过应用的SA可饱和吸收体和用于共振器件的透射型共振可饱和吸收体,它们能够相对低成本地实现激光锁模,应用于环形激光器。
而透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA是BSTOP新推出的产品,可用于1064nm的激光波长,吸收率A为53%,透过率T为45%,弛豫时间6ps。
可饱和吸收体SA的适用波长范围从980nm到3000nm,弛豫时间从500fs~37ps,其尺寸从1.0 mm x 1.0 mm至5.0 mm x 5.0 mm,能够兼容多种封装基底。
RSA(Resonant Saturable Absorber in transmission)透射式共振可饱和吸收体
RSA透射式共振可饱和吸收体可用于环形激光器的被动锁模,其方法与SA可饱和吸收体相似。目前只有一个标准型号,适用于1064nm的激光波长。
透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA具有以下特性:
- 低强度时共振波长处的反射率为零。
- 共振以外所有波长的透射比为零。
- 在共振波长处,透过率随脉冲通量的增大而增大。
- 饱和通量明显低于SA可饱和吸收体,甚至低于一般的可饱和吸收镜。
这些特性使得我们可以构造一个被动锁模光纤环形激光器,激光波长固定在RSA的共振波长处,用于启动cw锁模的低功率阈值。

SA(Saturable Absorber)-透射式可饱和吸收体
与可饱和吸收镜SESAM相比,可饱和吸收体SA没有布拉格反射镜,但他可以像可饱和吸收镜一样用于激光器的自启动,被动锁模。两者的不同之处在于可饱和吸收体SA在透射模式下工作,它可以插入例如光纤环激光器中。SA的饱和能量密度远高于SAM的饱和能量密度。
SA可饱和吸收体的最大特点是成本远低于另一种常用的锁模方法——SAM可饱和吸收镜+布拉格反射镜。一般应用于医用光纤激光器的锁模,还可用于>1600nm长波长半导体泵浦固体激光器的锁模。
