　　The ETA1043 is a high efficiency synchronous step-upconverter that can provide at least 100mA to a boostedoutput up to 14V from a low voltage source. Unlike moststep-up converter, it incorporates circuits thatdisconnect the input from output, during shutdown,short-circuit, output current overloading, or otherevents when output is higher than the input. Thiseliminates the need for an external MOSFET and itscontrol circuitry to disconnect the input from output, andprovides robust output overload protection.A switching frequency of 1.2MHZ minimizes solutionfootprint by allowing the use of tiny and low profileinductors and ceramic capacitors. An internalsynchronous MOSFET provides highest efficiency and witha current mode control that is internally compensated,external parts count is reduced to minimal.ETA1043 is in a tiny DFN2x2-8L package.
