Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. used gas chromatography to determine the hydrogen content in hydrogen containing silicone oil and polyether silicone oil. The principle is to use Si-H bonds to react with NaOH solution to generate hydrogen gas. By accurately measuring the volume of hydrogen gas generated, the hydrogen content is calculated and compared with chemical methods. The results show that the relative deviation between the two is less than 3.3%, achieving satisfactory results.
