HG/T 3545-2014 specifies the activity test method for ammonia synthesis catalysts, which is applicable to ammonia synthesis catalysts for the reaction of hydrogen and nitrogen to produce ammonia. This method generates ammonia through a chemical reaction of a certain ratio of hydrogen nitrogen mixed gas under specific conditions using an ammonia synthesis catalyst. The chemical reaction equation is 3H2+N2 → 2NH3. In the experimental method, sulfuric acid standard titration solution is used to absorb the gas generated by the reaction, and the volume fraction of ammonia in the outlet gas is calculated to characterize the catalyst activity.
