Methanol in the gas sample is gasified in a headspace analyzer to achieve gas-liquid equilibrium. Under optimized analysis conditions, methanol in the sample is determined by gas chromatography. Result: The average recovery rate of methanol in the ambient air is 91.0%~108%, The average recovery rate of methanol in waste gas from pollution sources is 82.0%~97.5%. The correlation coefficient of the standard curve for determining methanol in ambient air is r>0.9999, and the correlation coefficient of the standard curve for determining methanol in waste gas from pollution sources is r>0.9999.
