The fingerprint module IDWD1016 is a high-performance semiconductor fingerprint identification module developed and designed by Beijing Edward Technology Development Co., Ltd. The module has a simple structure and powerful functions. With the host computer, it can complete functions such as fingerprint entry, image processing, feature extraction, template generation, template storage, fingerprint comparison (including 1:1 and 1:N), fingerprint deletion and other functions. The module uses a semiconductor fingerprint sensor, the fingerprint image is clear, and it has strong adaptability to various types of fingers, especially for dry finger recognition. Combining the well-received IDWDfinger high-performance fingerprint core algorithm and high-speed CPU, it has the characteristics of high anti-counterfeiting performance, fast collection speed, strong adaptability and simple development. The IDWD1016B communication protocol is simple and reliable. The standard UART protocol is used to connect different upper-layer devices.
