INCONEL® alloy 686
An alloy designed for outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. The alloy is used in the most severe environments encountered in chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, and treatment of industrial and municipal wastes. Chemical processing uses include heat exchangers, reaction vessels, evaporators, and transfer piping. 据美国享廷顿特种材料公司报道,具有优异的抗腐蚀特性的Inconel 686合金已取代了美国海军舰船使用的K一500合金用作连接件。 686合金是一种固溶强化型合金,通过冷加工获得高的强度。特别是经冷加工后的686合金显示出杰出的耐氢脆和抗蚀性能,诸如优异的强度、延性和韧性。 采用直径为38Inm(15英寸)冷加工的686合金棒材制作1.3×33cm(0.5×13英寸)的螺栓具有993MPa的标准的R1Tr极限抗张强度,这些经加工的螺栓在加工后的连接件和楔形张力测试中部显示出良好的性能。
