吹氧管是用于炼钢吹氧用的小口径的钢管，一般用小口径的焊接钢管，标准由3/8寸-2寸八种，用08、10、15、20或Q195-Q235钢带制成。为防蚀，有的进行渗铝处理。
特性:
脱碳

有效切割及清理熔渣层造成的渣皮 ，固化或凝固的金属与耐火材料形成绝缘层，减少热损失，保护熔衬免受腐蚀、化学侵蚀以及热冲击。
清理钢水溢出物
吹氧管用于将固化的钢水溢出物分割成易于处理的小件，以及有助于一些有价值的溢出物的再熔化或者处理。
